The mystery of Susan Dobay's art lies in the associative inventiveness with which she develops as almost pulsating vortoex in the mosaic-like, radiant surface of her paintings. Whereas Victor Vasarely's compositions are created with an engineer's discipline, Dobay infuses warmth and sensuality into this stiff geometrication with her colors and the fluorescent rays of rhythmic lines.
